Hey guys! This no-knead bread recipe is literally what I would tell someone to make if they are just starting out in the baking field, especially for bread. Why? Because it is like a no-fail bread recipe. I was so shocked when my loaf turned out so well after doing practically nothing to the dough. It is not actually “no-knead” as I did knead the bread a little bit to bring it together but that is it!
I got this no-knead bread recipe off of a blog that I just ran into while browsing the internet. I have always seen these recipes pop up on Pinterest and Google but never thought it would be something I was interested in. The result was actually a fluffy loaf with a nice structured crust. I added some cornmeal to the bottom of my dutch oven and it really gave the bread an extra level of fanciness if you will that reminds me of bread that I would buy at a bakery. Definitely give this one a try if you need a fresh loaf of bread for a dinner or even just for an evening in. With all of my bread experimenting over the years, I think this is the one that we ate the fastest.
This recipe would also be great to make for a friend and even customize it to the person’s tastes. I know I have friends that would love a fresh loaf of bread! The only thing that may be a challenge with this recipe is that you absolutely must have a dutch oven. They can be rather expensive so I would suggest waiting until right after Christmas to snag a good deal or keep an eye out on Amazon or any culinary store like Sur La Table. They always have sales that happen throughout the year to keep their inventory flowing. Never pay full price for something like this. I practically never pay full price for anything anymore because it is just a matter of time before they discount it! I will link Jo Cooks’s blog right here, so please go give her some love! I will not be listing the recipe on my site as it is her recipe and she deserves the credit!
