Happy almost Mother’s Day Everyone! I hope you have plans to treat your mom to a day of fun. If you are stumped on what to get her for her big day I have compiled a gift guide that take the guesswork out of mothers day planning so you can focus more on her and less on the stress of planning! Everything I am including in this gift guide will be more geared towards a mom that loves to cook and be in the kitchen! I took a stroll through William Sonoma the other day and noticed that they had quite a lot of good sales going on and I wanted to make sure that you got in on the goods!
Also if you are a little late in getting her a gift most of these places will ship your item just in time for Mothers Day! Because honestly, aren’t we all too busy these days? A couple items I chose to be featuredin this gift guide are listed below. Everything I have listed has extremely high ratings on Amazon and other sites such as William Sonoma or Sur La Table. I don’t think I have ever purchased an item from any of these stores and have been disappointed in the quality and craftsmanship of the product.
The Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker the I listed below in pink is a great gift that hovers right around the $50 mark. It is definitely worth the splurge in my opinion. It is the only ice cream maker I use for the blog and it has worked suprisingly well so far! The next item on this list I have used in a professional capacity working in kitchens and bakeshops in the past. I love having a chinois on hand and am looking forward to the day that I can add it to my repertoire of home gadgets for my kitchen as well! The one I have listed below is made of stainless steel and will run you around $40. The next item is something that I spotted in William Sonoma this last weekend and I really wanted to buy. I LOVE Le Creuset and pretty much anything you buy from that brand is going to be of extremely high quality. The one I have listed below will cost you about $100 but they have a smaller option that is absolutely adorable that I will link as well.
Next is basically my most used, most coveted device in my kitchen which I had to add to this gift guide. I love Kitchenaid and I absolutely love my Kitchenaid Mixer. I have had it for over 10+ years and it still hasn’t stopped working. I need to get it cleaned and serviced but that info is for another post. Would you be interested in hearing how to get your home machines serviced for optimal use? Comment yay or nay in the comments below!
The last two items I listed are pretty large splurges but I think they are so worth it for mother’s day if your mom is a big foodie and loves to cook. You basically cannot ever go wrong with the purchase of a Vitamix. Every kitchen I have ever worked in always had a Vitamix on hand. You also cannot go wrong with having a good set of pots and pans in your kitchen. They may not seem to be much of a necessity if you are working in the pastry field but trust me, if you are making pastry cream or pate choux on a regular basis you need a good set of pots and pans. William Sonoma is also having a semi-annual sale on their site right now for most of their cookware brands such as Calphalon and All-Clad so make sure to hop on over to their site to see what good deals are to be had! If you didn’t know, since Mother’s Day is literally right around the corner Amazon will ship to you BY Mother’s Day if you order by today and all the stores I have mentioned in this post have an option to pay online and pick up in store with usually a turn around time of only 1 hour. Instant gratification at its FINEST.
One more thing… If you are looking to purchase flowers and you aren’t sure of a good company to go with? This will be my second year buying my flowers from Bouqs and they are always of the highest quality. My mom said last year they lasted for at least a week after she received them in 100F+ heat in Phoenix. Bouqs also sources all of their flowers directly from sustainable and eco-friendly farms so you can pay it forward with your purchase as well! One of my favorite things is supporting companies that are trying to make the world a better place with a much more sustainable future. Because we so NEED that right now.
